The Historic Jefferson Railway is located in downtown Jefferson, TX at 400 E. Austin St.

 

Jefferson is 160 miles East on I-20 from the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex and 50 miles west of Shreveport, LA. We are 15 miles North of Marshall on US Highway 59.

 

If you are coming from South of Jefferson - Take US 59 North from Marshall, TX. As you approach Jefferson, there will be a blinking yellow light at the intersection of US 59 and FM 2208. Take a right on FM 2208. Follow this into downtown Jefferson. After you cross the bridge over the Big Cypress Bayou, the first traffic light that you come to is Austin St. Take a right on Austin St. and it will dead end at the depot in about 3 blocks.

 

If you are coming from the North of Jefferson - Take US 59 South from Texarkana, TX. Once you arrive in Jefferson, there is a traffic signal at the intersection of US 59 and Hwy 49. Take a left on Hwy 49 at the light. At the T in the road, take a right toward the Historic Downtown of Jefferson. The second traffic signal is Austin St. Take a left on Austin St. and it will dead end at the depot in about 3 blocks.
