Age specific narration aboard the train:
Each trip is tailored to suit your specific age group; narration can be focused on a particular aspect of history (Jefferson, steamboats, steam trains, the civil war, etc.)
Flexible scheduling options:
Start a day in Jefferson with a morning train ride, or have a pleasant afternoon trip. Time of departure is up to you.

Lunch facilities with clean restrooms at the heated and air conditioned depot. Bring your own sack lunch, we can accommodate small groups – either before the train or after.

When your group rides the train, we can assist you with tour booking at Turning Basin Riverboat Tours, Lone Star Carriage rides, Jefferson Historic Museum, The General Store, Jefferson Fudge Company, and other attractions in Jefferson. Leave the footwork to us – we make it easy for your students to experience these destinations.

Train Group Pricing:
Tiered pricing - The larger the group, the better the price.
Less than 70 students = $6 per ticket ($350 minimum)

70-100 students = $5 per ticket
Above 100 = $4 per ticket
There is a 50% security deposit required at time of booking. No cancellations within seven days of event.

Special School Group Pricing,
$5 per train ticket for Great Locomotive Chase.
